TITLE: UNLEASH YOUR INNER REBEL

Our bible verse for today's devotional is: Galatians 1:10  (NIV)

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ

Devotional:

Being a rebel isn’t always about breaking rules or going wild. Sometimes, true rebellion is choosing what’s right when everyone else is going the other way. 

The world wants you to fit in, follow trends, and go with the flow - even if that flow leads to fear, pressure, and compromise. 

But when you unleash your inner rebel for the right reasons, you stand out by standing firm. You choose kindness when others choose cruelty. You choose honesty when lies are easier. You choose faith when doubt is popular.

God has called you to be different and that’s not a burden, it’s a blessing. You were never meant to blend in. You were made to break patterns, shake things up, and be transformed by God’s truth, not the world’s expectations.

So go ahead. Be a rebel. The kind that changes lives, not just outfits.

Here are a few reflective questions:

1. Where do I feel the most pressure to “fit in”?
2. What does healthy rebellion look like in my daily life?
3. How can I encourage someone else to stand strong in their faith?

Let us pray:

Lord, help me have the courage to stand out and be different. Give me the boldness to reject what’s wrong and embrace what’s right, in Jesus name Amen.

Please say these words of affirmation after me. Say them, mean them, own them and live them:

• I am not afraid to be different. 
• I will rebel against wrong and stand up for what is right with courage and confidence.
